BIMQ now also supports the latest IDS version 0.9.7, which is being implemented at a rapid pace by the industry and will very likely also be the final version. New module EPLASS BIM QM
Exciting news for BIMQ customers! At the end of September, Thinkproject released its new module EPLASS BIM QM. Not only does the new module have similarities with BIMQ in name, but also in the goal of quality-assured BIM data. Both tools can talk to each other via our interface and use the definitions created in BIMQ for model checking. On this basis, initial results from our joint R&D project ReCheck, which was completed this summer, are now being gradually integrated into BIMQ and EPLASS.

With the final tests and a joint closing event on 29 August, we successfully concluded the BIM2CAFM project, which began in January. With the BIMQ version 2.8.7 we released the new export interface to the CAFM system waveware®.

With the new IDS interface (IDS=Information Delivery Specification) you can rely on a standardised and easy-to-use validation format for IFC-based data exchange. Our IDS exports from BIMQ have been developed and tested together with LIBAL and usBIM.browser by ACCA-Software.
