IFC validation in BIMQ – More powerful than ever

With the latest BIMQ release, our IFC checking capabilities have taken a big step forward: We’ve not only streamlined the user experience, we’ve also significantly expanded functionality.

In addition to properties, quantities, and attributes, you can now check materials via IfcMaterial and element classifications via IfcClassification directly using native IFC functionality.

That means no more workarounds with custom properties outside the IFC standard. Creating the required information becomes much easier, and you can now integrate external classification systems such as bSDD.

The new dialog is currently available for group and property mapping and will be extended to include element mapping in the upcoming update.
